Studio Leadership

I founded Olympus Game Studios with a simple premise: I care equally about how something feels and how it’s built. In an industry often pushed by trends, I prefer building from the ground up, understanding the underlying systems so that the final experience can be refined with absolute intention.

Whether it's the architecture of a custom engine or the tactile feedback of a UI system, I believe that great technical design is invisible but essential to the emotional resonance of a game. Olympus exists to experiment openly, learn constantly, and build with a focus on long-term craft rather than temporary hype.

What We’re Building

Design Philosophy

Intentional UX for Tools

Every tool is designed for clarity and speed. Low friction in the editor leads to more time spent on creative refinement.

Systems-First Engineering

Stable foundations and clean, modular architecture ensure that systems can evolve without technical debt collapse.

Iteration-Driven Development

We believe in small, repeatable feedback loops and measurable improvements to both software and design.

Aesthetic Discipline

Style must support function. We avoid visual noise in favor of a clean, focused aesthetic that emphasizes the technical craft.

Tooling & Pipeline

Editor Workflows

Olympus prioritizes custom editor tooling over generic solutions. By building bespoke interfaces directly into our engine, we ensure that every slider and window is optimized for the specific needs of our projects, reducing context switching and cognitive load.

Asset Pipeline Reliability

We maintain a strict versioning mentality for all assets. Our pipeline is designed to be highly reliable, with robust import/reimport logic that ensures designers can see their changes in-engine instantly without worry of corruption or complex manual steps.

Architectural Separation

A key focus is the clean separation between editor and runtime layers. Shipping builds are optimized for execution performance, ensuring that the final player experience is lean and free of the overhead required during the creative development phase.

Collaboration

Olympus is a collaborative initiative. We work with specialized writers, level designers, and engineers who share our focus on intentional design. Whether it's a small-scale experiment or a larger technical project, we value collaborators who bring a disciplined approach to their craft.
